Aug. 2020 I took my F250 to Abercrombie to have it rebuilt. They did a great job. I got a 12month, 12000.mile warranty. At about 12250. miles it started to pour transmission fluid out the front of the transmission. I took it back not sure what to expect. The torque converter had crack in it. They said even though the warranty was out they would fix it at no cost. Tim said this should not have happen. I am so blessed by this because I did not know where we were going to get the money to repair it. They did not know that I was just coming through cancer and treatments and had to close my business due to the cancer. Some companies would have said the warranty was out, tough luck. Thanks Tim and Abercrombie Transmission.
I am adding to this review. Abercrombie went beyond my expectation after doing my first truck and fixing it. They did an outstanding job on my other car that I could not afford to get done. They bless me so much. If I could give them even greater rating I would. I am giving them a 10 on my rating score. If you need a good, honest, transmission company to do your work. This is the place. Thank you you have blessed me beyond measure.

I was Recommend Abercrombie by another shop. I called and he was months out from being able to put me on his schedule but told me to call in a few days and see if anyone cancels. He was able to get me in by the end of that week. He has originally told me that my transmission was back ordered for 3-4 weeks. The very next week he called and not only was the transmission there but he had my car ready! They were super nice, very knowledgeable and I trust that my transmission will last a long time. Here's my experience with Abercrombie in a nutshell: Care, honesty, and expertise. I felt like as a customer, I came first. Sure, it took a while to fall into the schedule, but I can only imagine that's because they're so in-demand. And for very good reason!

We live in Temple, and honestly I think there are some transmission shops closer by. I cannot imagine going ANYWHERE else besides Abercrombie after my experience, though.
